Thank You for Joining Sanford Inspire’s First Twitter Chat #InspireSEL
The changing educational landscape has teachers and students trying new digital tools in their everyday lives. We decided there was no better way to spark conversation and encourage inspirational educators to share your online SEL strategies than to try something new too! So, on May 20, Sanford Inspire hosted our first Twitter chat and we loved every minute of it. We are thrilled that 64 contributors chose to spend the hour engaging with us and our followers. Together we posted 310 original tweets, all filled with expert recommendations and your real-life advice.
We want to send a special thank you to all the 2019 Sanford Teacher Award winners who helped moderate our discussion: Laura Thompson from Delaware, Claudine James from Arkansas, and Linda Amici from Ohio. Your expertise and encouragement really shine. Thank you also to others who contributed thoughtful advice and inspirational stories with the hashtag #InspireSEL.
We’ve gathered some highlights from the chat that you might find beneficial when teaching SEL remotely to your students.
